The journey unfolds through navigation aboard a traditional dahabiya, allowing a slower and more intimate experience of the river, the landscape and the sites along the route.
Designed for a small group of participants, the expedition creates the conditions for a focused and immersive engagement with each location.
Indicative duration: 7–10 days.

ITINERARY
Dendera — Temple of Hathor
The journey begins at Dendera, one of the most important centers dedicated to Hathor, goddess of music, joy and celestial harmony.
The temple preserves a rich symbolic program connected to cycles of renewal, the sky and the return of the feminine principle. As the starting point of the expedition, it opens the narrative of the journey and establishes its mythological framework.
Coptos
An ancient center of trade and pilgrimage, Coptos marks a point of transition between the Nile Valley and the desert routes leading eastward.
Historically connected to expeditions toward the Red Sea and distant territories, the site introduces the dimension of movement, crossing and orientation that underlies the journey.
Edfu — Temple of Horus
At Edfu, the journey enters the domain of Horus. The temple, one of the best preserved in Egypt, embodies the myth of restoration, order and the re-establishment of balance.
Through its architecture and inscriptions, the site reveals a complete ritual narrative, allowing a direct encounter with the symbolic structure of kingship, protection and renewal.
Gebel el-Silsila
At Gebel el-Silsila, the landscape itself becomes the central element. Here, the Nile narrows between sandstone cliffs that were once the main source of stone for many of Egypt’s great temples.
The site reveals the relationship between extraction, construction and transformation, offering a direct encounter with the material dimension of sacred architecture and the shaping of landscape.
Kom Ombo
Dedicated to Sobek and Horus, Kom Ombo is a temple structured around duality and balance. Its symmetrical design reflects the coexistence of complementary forces within a single space.
The site introduces a layered symbolic reading connected to polarity, alignment and the integration of opposites within the broader framework of the journey.
Aswan
The journey reaches its southern threshold in Aswan, a place of passage, boundary and expansion where the Nile opens into a wider landscape of islands, light and horizon.
As a point of transition, Aswan marks both an arrival and a potential continuation of the journey.
From here, an optional extension — The Return of Hathor — allows the expedition to unfold further through additional sites connected to the mythological narrative.
